PT Professional (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the controller for the processing of personal data on this website.

2. What data we collect and why

2.1 Website visits

  • Data: IP address, device and browser info, language, approximate location, page views, clicks, referrer, session ID, cookie ID.

  • Sources/tools: Necessary cookies (for basic functionality), consent platform Cookiebot, analytics/marketing scripts (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta pixel/tag).

  • Purpose & legal basis:

    • Necessary cookies: Run the site, security, load balancing — legitimate interest.

    • Analytics: Improve content and user experience — consent.

    • Marketing/remarketing: Measure reach and display relevant ads — consent.

2.2 Contact form

  • Data: Name, email, phone, message, and technical metadata (e.g., IP and timestamp).

  • Purpose & legal basis: To respond to your inquiry and manage the case — legitimate interest (communication); alternatively contract if your inquiry concerns an offer/service.

  • Storage: Stored in our website database log and in our email inbox for case handling only. Not used for other purposes. Retained for up to 12 months after the matter is closed, unless legal obligations require a longer period.

2.3 Webshop on a separate platform

We operate a webshop on a separate platform. Personal data processing there is governed by the webshop’s own privacy and cookie policy (linked from the webshop pages).

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use Cookiebot to display the cookie banner, store your consent, and show an always up-to-date cookie declaration. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Change consent” / “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

3.1 Third-party providers we use (examples)

  • Google Analytics (GA4): Statistics on site usage. IP anonymization is typically applied in GA4. User/event data retention is usually 2–14 months, depending on our configuration.

  • LinkedIn Insight Tag: Reach measurement and audiences related to LinkedIn.

  • Meta pixel/tag (Facebook/Instagram): Measurement and audiences for ads.

Depending on the specific functionality, these providers may act as independent controllers (own purposes) and/or processors (on our behalf). See each provider’s privacy notice for details.

3.2 Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some providers may process data in countries outside the EU/EEA (e.g., the USA). In such cases, we rely on valid transfer mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable). Please note that such transfers may involve a risk of access by foreign authorities. We only load cookies/tools that require consent after you have consented in Cookiebot.

4. How long we keep your data

  • Consent logs (Cookiebot): Retained as long as needed to document/manage your consent (commonly up to 5 years or per internal policy).

  • Analytics/marketing: Per each tool’s retention settings (see 3.1).

  • Contact inquiries: Normally up to 12 months after closure unless longer retention is required by law (e.g., accounting) or to establish/defend legal claims.

5. Recipients and processors

We may share personal data with:

  • IT/operations providers (e.g., hosting, email, security solutions, WordPress plugins) to run and secure the website.

  • Analytics and advertising providers as in section 3.1 (only after consent for non-essential categories).
    Where required, we have data processing agreements in place.

6. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as TLS/HTTPS, access controls, logging, and regular updates of WordPress/Bricks and plugins.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • be informed and access your data,

  • request rectification or erasure,

  • request restriction of processing,

  • object to processing based on legitimate interests,

  • receive data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (data portability) where processing is automated and based on contract/consent,

  • withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).
